About Art with Robin

Robin Lynn Hess is 56-year-old an American Artist who hails from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Solanco school district, she has studied art history and is a big fan of the impressionist era. She mostly paints acrylic on canvas but has lots of experience painting on any surface or with any medium. her projects have ranged from a pebble to a wall mural or even a fire truck. Mostly self-taught, she can paint anything she sees, make any craft from pet rocks the wine cabinets. in her early 20’s she mastered hand beading jewelry and beading in native American styles and prefers not to use a loom. dreamcatchers are among her favorite craft. she has also taught herself the art of pottery and absolutely loves it . she plans to offer how to videos as well as personal craft, painting or pottery lessons. when she is not creating, she spends time with her family of 5 adult kids, 10 grandchildren and her husband of 38 yrs. she also enjoys gardening, raising chickens and looking for pretty rocks! If asked, Robin would tell you her art is eclectic. Thats for all of you to decide!

Introduction to Pottery Class

Learn how to Spin your own pottery! A three- class course on the basics of learning the art of pottery. From learning to operate a pottery wheel to finishing your first project. The course is broken down into three class, each class is one on one personal instruction with the Artist. you will learn to operate a pottery wheel, how to center clay, how to shape your project, how to glaze or paint your project and how to kiln. All equipment and supplies are included and you keep your finished project. Classes are at my studio in Drumore, Pennsylvania.
